I want to make a complaint about the thief’s that work at Amazon.com! They stole over $3000 from me and I want it back! Basically what happened was I was a seller for quite some time on Amazon.com. I had a very good reputation and sold all sorts of things from software packages to DVDs to clothes and music and more.
Well, out of the blue, one day Amazon.com decided to permanently close my seller account and refund the entire amount that was in the account back to the customers even though they all received their items. So basically all of these customers now receive free items at my expense plus I was out all the shipping and handling costs. I e-mailed Amazon.com numerous times and have copies of all the e-mails that I sent to them and they have yet to respond as to why they took this action.
These customers were sent the items that they ordered. All in brand-new and unused condition. Should be illegal and is definitely not the way to treat a good seller on Amazon.com. I also took the liberty of mailing my complaint to Amazon.com at their headquarters address (I tried to call them also) to no avail. Here is their HQ address and phone number as was listed at the Better Business Bureau:
Amazon.com Headquarters
Contact: Mr Evan James, Manager of Executive Customer Relations and Horseshit
Phone: (866) 216-1072
Address: 1200 12th Ave S Ste 1200 Seattle, WA 98144-2734
I can’t see how a business that is supposedly as green and consumer friendly as Amazon.com cannot respond to complaints like this in any capacity. Maybe they made an error so I tried to be nice if first in case this was what occurred. But it has been over six months now and they’ve returned all the funds for my account to the customers and I have nothing to show for it.
I am out around $2300 for my costs on the items plus the shipping and handling expenses. Plus my account is closed so I can’t make any more money with it. Now I did hear from other people on the Internet that have had this happen to them that it is easy to open a second account and just don’t use the same address with Amazon.com and that they will never figure it out.
I am trying to be the honest person here and do things in an honest manner, unlike Amazon.com. So for now I am trying to contact them to get my account reinstated and to get my monies back that they owe me. But if push comes to shove I guess I’ll have to open another account on Amazon.com as it apparently is pretty easy to do. I would like to receive a response from them as to why they stole my money and close my account, though. Bastards that they are, I doubt I will receive a response as it has been more than six months…

Amazon sucks big time. I ordered an item that was advertised only to find out the item no longer existed, the seller said that it was a web error. The seller sent me an item I had no use for, meanwhike Amazon was kept in the loop of everything. The seller played a game with the return label telling me it was on the comuter, but no matter what I did I could not retrieve the return label. Thinking maybe I was doing something wrong I gave my info to my daughter who is a computer analyst for the US Navy. My daughter tod me that the label was sitting on the sellers computer and the only one who could get it was the seller. Amazon kew what was going on all the while, they played this game until the time to return the item had expired, Amazon sided with the seller and they did not refund my money. I will tell every body I know NOT to buy ANYTHING ON AMAZON I will NEVERBUY there everagain.
As a added notation to the comment above, the Seller to beware of is UNBEATABLE SALE,INC., not a very reputable company. I should have stayed with Ebay, Overstock.com, or Craig’s List, and PayPay I would never have had this problem.
We opened a A Selling Professionally Store Account with amazon.com in MAY 2012. Over the two months we sold above 200 products through their website, however, we never received payments for those. In JULY 2010 amazon.com stopped our activity, AMAZON.COM close our Selling Professionally Store Account and we can’t login again. When we wanted to know more and resolve the problem, amazon.com ignored our effort and they will not even consider discussing it. Our money, of course, never made it to our bank.
We tried calling amazon.com to find out what is happening only to find out the Seller department taking care of such issues does not have a phone line, our only option is to email them and wait. So we emailed them. After a while when we have got no response, we tried emailing them again, still, no response.
Seems like amazon.com only knows how to take money away, once they are the ones to pay, there is no one to take care of it, no one to pay, no one to take care of the merchant!
Stay away from selling on Amazon unless they are small items like $50 or less. I used to hear great things about selling on Amazon because people said Ebay always protected buyers only and stuff. I had dozens of good transactions on Amazon and I pay them tons of fees just to list items. As a matter a fact, they take up to $60 from high priced items I sell. I wouldn’t care if they treated me better, but instead they side with indecisive and lying buyers who want to take you for a ride.
I’m a buyer and a seller, and I never came across any problems until they told me I HAD to give a refund for a $600 item and ever since then, I refuse to sell anything over $100 on Amazon. Watch out and make sure you take pictures of the condition of electronics before you ship them out.
