Today I was at Walgreens to refill my prescriptions, and I figure I would just walk around inside while I waited. This way I didn’t waste the gas to go all the way home and then have to come back out to pick the prescriptions up. I like to look around Walgreens because they have a lot of different things for being a drug store/ corner store.
As I was walking around Walgreens, I saw a bunch of different flavored freezer bars. They had Arnold Palmer Half Lemonade & Half Ice Tea freezer bars which sounded amazing! I love to drink Arnold Palmer Half & Half all the time and I thought these would be extremely awesome to enjoy.
When I was done picking up my prescriptions, I headed home. When I arrived home I had placed the freezer bars in the freezer immediately! After about 2 hours I had looked to see if they were done freezing, but unfortunately they were not frozen all the way. It was getting late so I had to wait till the next day to try these Arnold Palmer freezer bars.
After I had eaten lunch the following day, I had gone to the freezer and got a freezer bar out. When I had first taken a bite, I had noticed that it was a little watery. You could tell that they were not the same thing as drinking a glass of Arnold Palmer Half & Half! As I took another bite I started to notice a distinct taste and it really turned me off from eating the rest.
It tasted like pure chemicals and was awful tasting to no end! I would have expected that these were the best things I ever bought, but it was far from it! I had bought two boxes of the freezer bars because that was how excited I was when I saw them. That is usually how my luck turns out though when I see things that I believe are going to be awesome.
I was extremely pissed off and highly disappointed with the ending results, but I guess I only paid $1 for each box. Each box contains 10 bars and for the price, you think that it is a great deal but it is nothing close to that. I would not recommend Arnold Palmer Half & Half freezer bars to anyone, especially not to people who love to drink Arnold Palmer.
If you choose to buy the freezer bars, you will end up in great disappointment. Arnold Palmer needs to take this product of the shelves and rethink the manufacturing of these bars because this concoction is terrible!!!!!!
