I have been a heavy smoker for about 19 years now and have been on and off trying to quit. I think that I have been going back and forth because it is more of the habit of putting something to my mouth. I have tried the winterchill, mellow, and the frost flavors and I have found a couple different things. The winterchill flavor along with the robust flavor includes 15 large pouches compared to the winterchill and mellow which includes 15 smaller pouches. I first tried the winterchill flavor Snus because before I tried Snus, I tried Grizzly wintergreen. I feel like this is the most similar to the Grizzly wintergreen, but definitely is not the same.
I fell most in love with the frost flavor but the most important thing that many people don’t keep in mind is that Snus is supposed to be an alternative. It was started in Sweden and the reason why it is called Snus is because the Swedish translation of Snuff is Snus. The best part of Snus is that I have the ability to get my nicotine anytime of the day no matter where I am.
I used to be at work and I couldn’t leave to take a smoke break so Snus is perfect to resolve that issue. The only problem that I have found is the low level of nicotine in each pouch. I would much rather have cigarettes to get the amount of nicotine I really need. I hate not really feeling anything when you put the pouch in your upper lip like for say when you have regular chewing tobacco.
I would recommend Snus to anyone that has a problem with their health from smoking cigarettes. It is an alternative to get you off the habit of smoking. I wouldn’t recommend Snus to someone that wants another substitute for regular chewing tobacco. I have tried the Camel brand and have found the pouches to be dry but helpful to take of the edge of thinking about nicotine. I have heard that Snus right from Sweden is a lot stronger and recommended more than the kind made in the United States. I will be trying to see if I can get my hands on some quality Swedish Snus rather than the ones sold at my local Sevn Eleven store. Lets see how it goes…
I recommend to try Swedish Snus with higher nicotine – Jakobsson and Thunder.
