Are you a woman? Do you love to buy coin purses, purses, clutches, and/or duffel bags? There are many different handbag brands out in the market to buy. You can purchase lower quality bags from Walmart or Target, or purchase the higher quality bags like Coach, Chanel, and Douney & Bourke. There are even more brands out there that I don’t even know!
Of the entire handbag brands listed above, Walmart and Target are the cheapest and not the best quality handbags of all. I recently bought a handbag from Walmart 2 weeks ago and it is already starting to rip! Needless to say, I exchanged it for a new one hoping that the first one just had a stitching malfunction because the purse was very cute. However, that was not the case and the second purse ripped too! So I will say that the purses from Walmart are cute, but they are not the best quality at all.
The other three companies, Coach, Chanel, and Douney & Bourke, I do not know much about Chanel but I do have experience with Coach and Douney & Bourke. My best friend is obsessed with Coach purses and owns at least 10 purses from them. We have a local Coach Outlet store in our mall, where she buys the Coach purses at a discounted price. Although it is an outlet store, she still spends a lot of money on them. I personally don’t think that Coach purses are worth the hundreds of dollars they cost. I also think that Coach purses are for the older generation. I know that the saying “History always repeats itself” is highly looked upon in fashion, but even the styles they sell or have are very old fashioned.
Moving onto Douney and Bourke, I don’t have much of a story. My sister received a Douney and Bourke for her anniversary but a week later the strap was starting to fray. However, they have a really generous return policy. They allowed her to exchange it for a brand new purse, which I was very surprised with. I don’t understand the hype or the prices for these handbags, but if you other women want to spend your har earned money on these expensive purses, then go ahead! Be my guest!
The one brand of purses that I have not yet to mention is Vera Bradley. This brand is by far my favorite out of all handbag brands. They have all sorts of different items from baby items to school supplies. They also have a lot of deals on certain item all the time especially on their website. These deals sometimes include 50% off items.
The other thing I enjoy about Vera Bradley is that they always have free shipping offers. Some of the free shipping offers are for when you spend $75 or more and some free shipping offers are for when you spend $50 or more.
The free shipping offers sound like you need to spend a lot of money in order to qualify, but really you only need to buy one or two items. You may need to buy three or four things especially if you buy the items that are on sale!
The other reason why I say that the $50 spent gets you free shipping isn’t that bad is because if you look at the price of all the other handbags mentioned before, you would realize Vera Bradley had the cheapest handbags other than the low quality ones at Walmart and Target. And the Vera Bradley ones are well constructed and last!
So, unless you have the money to spend on a new handbag from Coach, Channel, or Doukes and Bourke, I would highly recommend the Vera Bradley brand. There are so many different patterns and designs, which make your money worth it!
