Coca Cola Service Technician Complaint – Amazing Product But Horrible Customer Service!

My company has had Pepsi fountain drinks for the past three years, but has had some issues with their pricing and their products.  After a couple different problems with their late deliveries and their incorrect deliveries, we decided to contact Coca Cola.  When I had first contacted Coca Cola, they had talked to me with a lot of respect and not just another company.

We had set up an appointment to work out a contract with Coca Cola representative and then proceeded with setting up the date for installation.  Since the installation about a year ago, I have had just as much problems as I did with Pepsi.

Last week I had called the customer service number I was given to have a service technician come look at one of my coolers.  The cooler was blowing the electrical outlet and then would not cool at all.  I was told they would be out within the next two days and that was not the case.  They finally came a week later and when they arrived, they were very rude to me. 

They were very unprofessional as they were talking to me and it was a complete turnaround with the first conversation I had in the very beginning.  When they were done figuring out what the problem was with the cooler, I had asked them to fix the gasket that was coming off of the other cooler.  The on technician told me that I could just call the number again and someone would come out again.

All they needed to do was quickly silicone the gasket to the door, but instead of taking another 10 minutes, he told me to call for another technician to come out.  I was very upset because the gasket was completely off and the cooler door was not properly sealed.  Therefore, the drinks were not staying as cold as they should have been.

After I had called the customer service number again to have a technician come to my company, the guy that showed up gave me attitude because he asked me if Coca Cola just had been at my company.  I had told him yes and he wanted to know why I didn’t have them just do it.  He was very upset because I was wasting his time and he then started saying how crappy his co-workers were and how lazy they actually were.

I love Coca Cola products, but when it comes to the customer service side, they are useless.  I am not sure what I want to do with Coca Cola in terms of switching back to Pepsi or not.  If you have a choice whether to have Pepsi or Coca Cola in your company, make the right choice and don’t choose Coca Cola!
