Last night I went out with a group of friends to a movie and then out to ice cream. We were all debating which ice cream parlors to go to since there are so many around town. We were debating whether to go to Brusters, Dairy Queen, Cold Stone Creamery, or Maggie Moos. We all took a vote and I was out voted. Therefore, we went to Cold Stone.
As we got to Cold Stone Creamery, there was a huge line out the door. We had gotten there around 9 p.m. so I was really shocked to see that many people wanting ice cream that late. I guess that’s why we live in such a country that obesity is the highest! My friends insisted in waiting in line, so that’s what we did.
As we were standing in line for about 15 minutes we were getting closer to the front. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to order so I could just order and not waist any more time. One problem with Cold Stone Creamery is that you are not able to see any of the flavors until you are walking next to the ice cream freezers. Therefore, you can’t decide what you want until you are up and being served.
This is one reason I hate Cold Stone Creamery because we were standing in line for 25 minutes total and now that we were up to the counter, I didn’t even know what I wanted. Another reason I dislike Cold Stone Creamery is due to the ridiculous high price they charge. I am not saying that the ice cream isn’t good, but it isn’t worth the price value they are selling it at.
If you don’t order their signature creations you still are paying a ridiculous amount for basic ice cream! I would be able to go to the grocery store and buy a ½ gallon of Blue Bell for the same price of a small dish of one flavor ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery. No matter if my friends want to go to cold Stone Creamery, I will not be wasting my money and time at this ridiculously priced ice cream parlor.
The only part of your visit that might be fun is if you place money in their tip jar. If you want something different when you tip, then place some money in the bucket. You may not get the best singing but at least you make them feel ridiculous, just like their prices are. If I had more time to waste at Cold Stone Creamery, I would stand there and keep placing pennies in the tip jar to keep them singing their ridiculous tune.
I like Cold Stone Creamery, but my boyfriend said it made me fat and my hips were too big. So I don’t get icecream there anymore. Instead I eat soups and salads everyday and I have lost over 30 pounds. My boyfriend now thinks I am hot. So goodbye icecream and goodbye Coldstone. Hello veggies and new sexy body!

I love Cold Stone Creamery! Martha, it’s sad that your boyfriend is so superficial. If mine told me that ice cream made me fat then I would dump him immediately. He knows where I and good ice cream stand and he knows not to get in the way of that! Cold Stone Creamery is the best!

Oh Martha seriously? Don’t you dare let a man control you like that girl! He’s just thinks he’s the King and he’s got your tail whipped. I would never let a man force me to decide what I should eat, and how much of it. And the kicker is the relationship probably won’t even last that long. Girl it dosent matter how much you starve yourself, when he gets tired of your sex he’s going to find someone else and place you back on the shelf. Come on, you’re better than that.
Yes it’s important to be as healthy as you possibly can, but you have to decide that for yourself. Now me for instance, I’ve decided to cut out all fast food, especially McDonald’s. And I’ll admit that it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever accomplished. But I alone decided that, not any man.

One occassion my G-ma wanted to try a Cold Stone for dessert. Let me tell you all, everybody who worked at my store had like, no personality whatsoever. To make it a perfectly boring experience, their ice cream had a fairly bland flavour to it. oxO’
Talk about somebody looking foward to getting it over with.
