I am so worried. I have had MVP for over 15 years. I have polycystic Kidney disease. Although I was diagnosed over 5 years after I started with MVP. I am so worried. I am self employed. My insurance policy went from 350.00 per month to over 1100.00 per month. My disease is genetic but I was adopted at 3 by my moms second husband. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a decent family history. I am now 52 and so very sick. I can’t quit working; because of my insurance costs. I can’t get disability because I am self employed. And I have seen a huge difference in the coverage that I get from MVP. Now, I have to pay 100. deductible for my prescription plan and I must get generic for all medications I take. If a generic is unavailable ; I must pay for the medication myself. Or take a different medication. I just had to change 4 of my medications. And since all of those changes; my blood pressure has been out of control. Yes, I feel at risk !! I hurt my shoulder and MVP just refused to pay for an MRI. I have been in horrible pain since August. I have been pushing myself through the pain. It has been so bad. I work so hard to keep my insurance but I don’t know how much more I can take. I have never asked for disability nor cam I afford to do that. After all of these years. This is the coverage I get. I have had to take time off work and pay for extra help in order to stay in business. I am physically unable to work but I must keep working to pay my insurance.

Clear is clearly the WORST internet service provider in the universe. I would jump at the opportunity to join a class action lawsuit against them for the horrendous experience I’ve had with them as a customer. When I initially subscribed, I had the greatest experience dealing with a guy on the west coast getting everything set up. Since that time, I have simply accepted it as a fact of life that the quality of the internet service itself would be poor at best. But when I started having billing issues… Well, that was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I hate these bastards with a passion. They are completely incapable of solving the simplest problems. Please let everyone you know what a shitty company this really is.

You only get a corporate refund if you’ve done multiple returns without a receipt. It’s used to track people who steal items and return it for store credit.

Anyone who is in the business knows this is a scam! My daughter is a child model and is signed with a talent agency. We did not need to pay a company to find an agency for us. We found them online.You can go to SAG websight and find reputable talent agencies. Usually they ask to submit a photo of yourself or child and they get back to you if they are interested. Sometimes you will need to submit to several agencies before one picks you up. But they will never ask you to pay! The only time you pay them is when you get a job and they will take 10% . It does not cost to go on auditions!!!!

I used Stanley Steemer when my husband and I were putting our house on the market. The carpets weren’t bad at all, but they did only a so-so job, leaving dirt under sofa and in corners. Not exactly what I wanted, but worse: one or both of the SS workers stole a $1000 GPS from my home. They were the only ones in the house besides me and my husband. We found it missing shortly after they left. I wish now I had watched them closer, but I wanted to give them space and show I trusted them (yep, BIG mistake!) Anyway, it gets worse, in a way, when I reported the theft to SS, the manager threatened to sue me if I told anyone. So it was a loss and then insult to injury. I now have hardwoods. I’ll never use Stanley Steemer again. If I have anyone working in my home, I now supervise them closely. Everyone should or realize you’re taking a huge chance, no matter how trustworthy they seem or claim to be (BTW this happened when SS was running the ads about how trustworthy their workers are!)

I work at a lighting showroom and sell good quality fans, I see people several times a week complaining, about lowes and home depot fans, they look nice and are “cheap”, but once they break, you can never find parts for them. Im serious several times a week I see this. Spend a little more on a fan such as Craftmade, Hunter, or Minka- Aire, that comes with a lifetime warranty. Fans are not suppose to make noise

It’s actually very possible that they had ‘done away with’ financing at the time you were in the store; there was a short period that summer when Big Lots’ corporate office had stores stop taking credit applications as a test.

Credit applications are also not kept in the store. When you apply for credit and are approved, the associate who called in the application is supposed to make a copy of your application, with your account number, and give the copy to you. The original application is then dropped into a lockbox, and the applications are mailed to HSBC once weekly. After they are mailed, there’s no record kept of your account with Big Lots; they are all kept filed with HSBC. Therefore it’s impossible for store associates to go back and look at your application.

You should have been able to make a purchase with the copy of your application and your ID, however. Sorry you had such an aggravating experience.

I agree with “duh”. I returned a body wash set I had purchased for $11 to Walmart. Since it was a “seasonal” item and I didn’t have the receipt, they gave me $2. Yup. Anyway, at most stores, you can’t just walk up to the counter, you have to stand by their little rope where the sign says “Please stand here”. Just because an associate is behind the counter with no customers doesn’t mean she’s not busy doing something. You stand by the little sign and when they’re ready, they call you. Just like at a bank.
