There was a particular DVD I happened to be searching for quite time now & I thought that my FYE store would carry it. FYE (For Your Entertainment) had a reputation for their wide selection of DVDs, so I decided to check it out. When I arrived in the store I saw that it was a bit busy; I began to search for my DVD. I looked everywhere & had not much luck finding it.
After a good hour & a half I asked an employee if they could try to order it for me. He was very immature &, needless to say, acted like I was wasting his time. I thought that when you or I was @ work it’s our job to assist customers if they wanted/needed anything..
The employee told me that he would be back with his manager (it always seems that the not so bright workers always get their boss if they don’t feel like doing something). So I stood around, waiting; minutes seem to pass before they both returned. The employee & his manager both stared hard @ the same computer.
I seemed to be forgotten as they continued to mutter to each other. Just as I was about to speak up, I suddenly got a whiff of the foulest stench. I couldn’t help but stick my nose under the collar of my shirt (it smelled like something had died). I kept it covered for a minute.
The two were still “working” on their desktop & didn’t acknowledge my existence. I was relieved that the horrible odor had disappeared. Now what were they doing? It had been five minutes since they returned & still hadn’t said a single word to me! I had almost forgotten about my DVD when I (once again) smelled that very same scent, only this time even worse. When I looked @ the manager he had a smirk on his face (it almost seemed as if he was doing it on purpose to drive me away)..
After a while I got disgusted & decided to leave. That was the most ridiculous service I’ve ever gotten. In the end, I never got my DVD, but got the silent treatment & workers with terrible gas. Needless to say I have not been back there since. I still cannot get over how unprofessional the staff was toward me.
