When I went to Wal-Mart last week, I was doing my monthly grocery shopping. As I was shopping I had a craving for potato chips so I had gone down the chip isle. As I was looking for a brand and flavor to buy, I noticed the ridiculous prices.
I went to look at Lays Wavy potato chips and found them to be around $3. I was not about to pay that much for a bag of potato chips. I then saw Wal-Mart’s brand Great Value potato chips and noticed they were cheaper. They were priced at $1.98, which were a good price to pay.
When I got home and unloaded the groceries, I decided to watch a movie with my husband. We had some Bison French Onion dip so we took that out of the fridge. As we sat down to watch The Dark Knight with Heath Ledger, the only disappointment that was about to come was with the Great Value potato chips. As soon as I reached my hand into the bag, you could feel the grease.
The potato chips were so greasy, it was like they just had taken them out of the fryer. Not only were they really greasy, they were flimsy and breaking. I went to dip a chip into the Bison dip and it totally crumbled into pieces. They were the worst potato chips I had ever eaten in my life.
I would suggest for everyone not to buy Wal-Mart’s Great Value brand of potato chips. Go ahead and spend the extra $1. This way you will know are getting value for your dollar and not worrying about wasting your money on a terrible value! That leads me to my next argument.
I don’t understand how Wal-Mart can create a brand called Great Value. Their products are crappy and fall way short to their competitors. Wal-Mart is not a Great Value to anyone, not even your local soup kitchen. Do yourself justice and don’t buy Great Vale products!
ahhhh you poor baby ,,, you bought cheap chips and went thru the trouble and complain on the internet… I’m eating a bag right now and don’t have any of these issues … want your blanket now …

on the bag is a money back guarentee , if you are not happy in any way you will be fully refunded , all they ask for is the bag# proof of purchase so they can track any quality issues..you had the time to bash them on the internet rather than get your money back and give them direct feedback….very sad

I just bought a bag of these and near the end I noticed something very hard in my mouth. I spit out everyting and out came a half a dime sized chunk of glass. I can’t believe it! I almost ate it! My tooth didn’t like trying to chew that….Some advice…DON’T BUY THEM!!!!
