How many of you are religious Kohl’s shoppers? I myself am a Kohl’s lover, I am constantly on their website looking at their clearance section, and in the stores looking at their clearance items. They always have a great variety of items to choose from with very cheap prices. One of the departments on the Kohls.com website that really caught my eye was the Kohl’s Cares Dana Buchman product line. This line was made to support breast cancer.
One of the reasons I fell in love with this line is because it was so cheap! They have very nice looking watches for only $10, and sunglasses for only $10 as well. The two items that I purchased were one of the $10 watches and a zebra tote for only $10 as well. I received these in the mail and fell even more in love with them than I was just looking at the pictures online. The tote is the perfect size for traveling, and the straps on it are the perfect length so that the bag doesn’t hang too low and put strain on your shoulders. The watch that I purchased was also perfect, it comes in two different colors pink or white. I purchased the white watch, which I can wear with pretty much any outfit. Depending on what you wear it with you can dress it up or dress it down, either way it is a great addition to any wardrobe!
These items are a great idea and way to raise money for breast cancer. Because these items are to raise money for breast cancer I had a hard time purchasing these items online because I had $10 worth of Kohl’s cash and apparently when purchasing items from the Kohl’s Cares department you are not allowed to use Kohl’s cash or any other type of discount or promotions. In this case with the Dana Buchman items, all 100% of the proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
However, I didn’t realize that was the reason that my Kohl’s cash wasn’t working so I called the Kohl’s.com customer service line to speak with someone to see if I could figure something out. The first woman that I spoke with was very friendly in telling me that the Kohl’s cash was activated properly, and asked if I wanted to make a purchase right then on the phone to ensure that I would get to full $10 Kohl’s cash. However, I was not ready to make a purchase right yet, so I declined the offer, but this woman was the friendliest customer service rep that I have ever spoken to on the phone.
The next day I still couldn’t figure out why my Kohl’s cash was not showing up right so I called up the customer service number once again. Once I told the representative what I was looking to purchase and was about to make the final purchase, again, trying to use my Kohl’s cash, it still wasn’t showing up right. This representative then explained to me that the Kohl’s cash was only taking off the price of shipping and handling which was only $5.95 because all proceeds from these purchases go to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
The man that I talked to was very friendly and helpful in explaining that I would not be able to use my Kohl’s Cash on this purchase if I wanted to get the full amount of $10. So in the end I ended up not using my Kohl’s cash, however, I did feel good about purchasing these items for full price seeing that all proceeds were going to a good cause (the Breast Cancer foundation).
I recently filled out a card at the Highland In store with my E-Mail address–after being told that if I did so- I would receive a Ten Dollar gift card’ So far—-NO CARD!!!!!!!!!
