Last month I preordered the Nascar 2011 Wii video game off of Amazon.com. They were running a deal where if you preordered the game then you would receive $10 in a gift certificate to use on Amazon.com. The game was $48 in the end and is totally worth it! I thought that was a really easy way to make some money so I went ahead and purchased the Nascar 2011 Wii game.
When I went onto Amazon.com I was able to select to have it shipped the day it came out at no extra charge. It only took 2 days to get to my house and before I knew it I was in the driver seat! When I first loaded up Nascar 2011, it was pretty cool to hear “gentleman, start your engine”.
I started playing the single race mode and chose Dale Jr. because he is my favorite driver. As I chose the tracks, the tracks were very realistic to the real thing. It was crazy to be able to qualify for the race before hand and try and run your fastest time within two laps. It is very crazy to feel like you are behind the wheel of a real Nascar Sprint Cup car.
You are able to choose the amount of laps you want to race, if you want full damage to be possible, and all the way up to how you want to be able to drive the car. You are able to choose from rookie to expert in the way you want to control the car. When there is a wreck, there is an instant replay that pops up and during that you are able to choose if you want to pit or not.
Once you come down pit road under the computer’s control, you are able to select if you want to choose gas only, 2 or 4 tires, or to make the care more tight/loose. You have to be careful if you want pit and no one else does because you will be in last before you know it. It is very real and I love to play it for hours on end.
You have the option to play a career mode which becomes more personal in achieving personal bests. If you love Nascar, I highly recommend you buying Nascar 2011 for the Wii. The graphics are pretty good for all the details that need to go into the game. You always have your crew chief and spotters talking to you during the game which makes it even more realistic!!
I love to have my surround sound hooked up to the Wii and turn the volume really loud. It just makes the game even better than just having the sound out of the TV. This is one way to really feel like you are inside the car! I love this game!
