PayPal sucks - in a case where the consumer was clearly sent the correct item and fraudulantly claimed that they didn't PayPal found for the scumbag buyer and then assessed me a bogus chargeback fee!
I own a few websites and one of them sells electronics products like Xbox 360s and PlayStation 3′s. Well I just got notice from PayPal that the buyer filed a charge back and that they will not be fighting the chargeback. On top of that they’re charging me a $20 settlement fee. They say this is because I didn’t ship it to them in a timely manner.
That is pure hogwash as I shipped it within three days of receiving the order. Not only that, but the customer received the product and I have online tracking to prove it. Two days after they received it they filed a chargeback with their credit card company claimed that they didn’t receive it when they actually did.
That is fraud in my book. Claiming you didn’t receive something when you knowingly received it. I sent it to their correct address and everything. Yet because they filed a chargeback through their credit card company I am screwed. I am out a new Xbox 360 and on top of that I’m charged a ridiculous $20 chargeback settlement fee.
We’ll just what? I have rights and they’ve been violated here. So every time that PayPal decides to be a jackass and find for the scumbag fralant buyer, like in this case, I’m going to post as much negative crap as I can about PayPal all over the Internet. So, dumbass PayPal executives, hear this one out – for every $20 chargeback settlement fee you’re trying to charge me wrongly I am going to cost you $100,000 in negative publicity all over the Internet.
I think that’s the only way to deal with PayPal and the way that they wrongly charge these chargeback settlement fees and on top of it the way that they wrongly find for the scumbag customers that lie, cheat and steal. If I were PayPal I would not be siding on the side of customers that claim to not receive things when it’s proven point blank in writing that they did.
This is not the first time that this is happened, unfortunately. We are now up to about 20 of these bogus chargebacks this year alone and apparently since late last year PayPal is adding a $20 chargeback settlement fee to each and every single one of them. That means if it isn’t your fault and you did nothing wrong now you’re getting charged an extra $20 every time no matter what.
That’s sick! So PayPal, take this to heart – you screw with me, I will screw you right back 1,000 times harder! So for every $20 chargeback settlement fee that you assess and charge me wrongly I will post no less then 100 negative consumer complaints and reports about your company all over the Internet – that will teach you to screw your sellers!
So the scumbag buyer here may have gotten away with a free xBox 360 and I got hit up with a bogus $20 chargeback settlement fee, but until this is corrected by PayPal I’m going to make sure I cost them several million dollars in negative publicity! And to everyone out there reading this if you’ve been screwed over by PayPal with a bogus chargebacks settlement fee or similar do the same thing – this will eventually force PayPal through huge losses to rethink their strategy of building good sellers like me! I am going to bring PayPal to its knees if they don’t stop this crap!
PayPal is a thief. They locked my account when I reached $3,000 in sales and refused to give me any of the money I earned. Now I am out 8 computers, 1 Apple iPod, 2 Apple Ipads, and a bunch of authentic Microsoft software. I didn’t do anything wrong and PayPal doesn’t care. They aren’t giving me my money and are crooks!
