I went to Rooms to Go to look for a dining room set. When I had gone into the store, I was asked immediately if I need help. I really just wanted to look on my own but the salesperson insisted on helping me! So I agreed to let him assist me to find a dining room set I was looking for. After about 30 minutes, I had found a set that I thought would look very nice in my dining room.
It included the table, 6 chairs, and a china cabinet for $1,400. I loved the set and was very excited to get the furniture delivered!! If only it was that simple! When I had gotten my furniture delivered 2 weeks later and placed into my dining room, I had looked at all the furniture to inspect it of high quality. High quality was the least I got!! I had found nicks and scratches on the china cabinet and all over the table. I had called up rooms to go because the delivery guys had already left.
I spoke to the store manager and he told me that they would deliver me a new set asap (3 days later) and I agreed because I thought maybe it was an accident. I had then received round 2 of furniture and I looked over the set to find more scratches on this set! I told the delivery guys that I didn’t want it and made them take it away.
I had taken a trip to the Rooms to go showroom and went straight to the manger. He persisted to deliver me another set even after stating I didn’t want any of the furniture and I clearly said NO! After I said no to him, he then persisted on taking a percentage off my bill to compensate me for the hassle I had. I told him No to everything and declared a refund for all the furniture!! I would never step foot into Rooms to go because they have nothing but cheap and crappy furniture!! After delivering the furniture twice, I did not want to deal with another scratched dining room set. It was like buying a set from Salvation Army or a consignment shop, USED!!

I think their furniture is so cheap that I won’t scratch it. I prefer to sink my claws into real furniture, not fake furniture.
