Time Warner Cable DVR Remote Manager Allows You To Control Your DVR From Anywhere!!
One thing about DVR is the ability to tape all the shows that I watch even when I am not home. There are about 7 shows daily that I watch but occur during the time I work or are at sport practices. My schedule is very busy and I hate when I miss a show or game, so I decided to go with Time Warner Cable and spent the extra $10 for a DVR.
Although I have had a couple issue with Time Warner Cable such as problems with shows recording and connectivity problems, I have enjoyed being able to record everything and watch it with no commercials. I don’t believe there is anything in this world that drives me crazier than having to watch the damn stupid commercials. Not only are they annoying, but they take up at least 20 minutes during the show. I rather take those 20 minutes and use it to either start another show or to be somewhere I need to be.
One feature that Time Warner just came out with is the ability to manage your DVR from any cell phone or computer with Internet capabilities. I saw a commercial for this feature and decided to look into how to set it up on my account. If you at least have Time Warner’s basic cable then you will be able to go online and set up your username and password.
Once you create your username and password you will be able to login and click on the “my services” button. This is where you will be able to find the DVR remote manager. I am able to view my DVR recordings while I am out of the house which allows me to never miss a single show ever again.
If there is one thing that Time Warner Cable has gotten correct, the DVR remote manager is it. I am so happy that I can control my DVR at home when I am over 30 miles away from it. It is incredible and makes me more comfortable with having Time Warner Cable because of the ability to have more control of my programming.

TO BE WAITIN WHEN I TELL IT TO RECORD ON THE DVR IT SEEMS LIKE IT TAKES FOREVER TO ACTUALLY SET UP AND ACTUALLY SHOW UP ON THE BOX BUT I CANT DO ANYTHING ELSE WHILE I WAIT ON THAT SO ITS GOOD IF YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT CHANNEL AND WHAT TIME YOU NEED TO RECORD SOMETHING THAT YOU JUST SEEN ON AN ADVERTISEMENT BUT NOT GOOD FOR JUST SEARCHING AROUND AND LOOKING WAY WAY WAY WAY TO SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW… SORRY HOPE THEY FIX THIS MAJOR PROBLEM VERY SOON….
