Top 10 popular posts for October!

Here are the top 10 posts for the month of October here on ReportYourComplaint.com!

1. Crocs shoes and knockoffs at Target and CVS – This one is kind of a surprise and came out of nowhere. You would think at this time of the year that beach shoes like Crocs would be not quite so popular a topic, but apparently this was our number one most read and linked to post on ReportYourComplaint for the month of October.

2. Bojangles fried turkeys review – Being that Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away it was no doubt that some kind of Thanksgiving or holiday related post would become very popular. Bojangles has decided to take advantage of Thanksgiving and Christmas by offering whole fried turkeys to their customers for a very nominal price – a great idea in my book! If you want a fried turkey and don’t have to sit out there in the cold for hours while it fries then I definitely recommend you check out Bojangles and their fried turkeys.

3. Smoke remedy and Dtox scam – As more and more people see the health hazards and risks associated with smoking more people will try and quit. The problem is nicotine is extremely addictive and it is very hard to quit so people will look to prescription drugs, hypnosis and numerous other programs and methods to try and help them quit smoking. Apparently according to this contributor and others this smoke remedy dtox thing may be a big scam…

4. Walmart and their slogan of low prices – this one doesn’t make a lot of sense to me as to why it’s so popular other than the fact that Wal-Mart is the largest international retailer in the world and the largest company in the world. Wal-Mart is well known for under paying their employees and doing more to hurt society rather than to help it.

5. Kickass torrents webse review – if you are looking for downloads and torrents then, per our readers, this is one of the top rated torrent download sites out there and a better alternative to the Pirate Bay which everyone out there knows is loaded full of hackers, freaks, viruses and malware.

6. The Mary Kay Cosmetics scam! – No other complaint has gotten us more comments, responses and more than this post. We’ve received hundreds of comments and responses from employees and others similarly vested in the Mary Kay brand. What surprises me is the number of these that tried to claim they were customers or consumers when in fact we could trace the IP address for many these back to the exact same address where it became quite obvious that it was the Mary Kay representatives or others trying to leave misleading and false praises of the Mary Kay cosmetics brand. When this occurs it just further goes to show that there is something amiss and usually that means you’re dealing with a scam. Read this post and see for yourself. You will find it very interesting.

7. Portfolio Recovery Associates and illegal debt collection practices – there is no other debt collection agency that we’ve received more complaints about than portfolio recovery Associates. Apparently this collection agency seems to think they are above the law and keeps calling and harrassing people with incorrect information. If you have received a call from a 1(800) number it may have been from these folks they might be looking for someone that doesn’t even live at your household or residence.

8. the US Copyrightgroup scam – this complaint is about a law firm named Dunlap, Grubb and Weaver that is attempting to wrongly sue people out of their jurisdiction on purpose. They want to make this lawsuit of errors against movie pirates as inconvenient as possible by following all the John Doe lawsuits in Washington DC so they can then subpeona their information and then send extortion letters to try and get as many of them to settle for several thousand dollars. There is no intent on behalf of the law firm to actually file lawsuits in the individual states and locales of the defendants. This is purely a move to extort and greatly inconvenience the proposed defendants. You definitely need to read this pot as it is very educatinal and interesting to say the least!

9. AMTC auditions and amega scm for christ – This is a definite scam that everyone should stay far away from. Basically they’re selling people on a $3000 extravaganza that covers a few days to give their kids false hopes of becoming a TV star or similar. It actually ends up costing far more than the $3000 that you think it’s going to cost because you have to include airfare, hotel trips and all kinds of add-ons. Just like with the Mary Kay scam we received a lot of false comments that can all be tracked back to the same IP addresses and so we knew they were bogus and filed by employees or other similarly vested AMTC staff. The only reason why people file false reports and false comments is because they don’t want their scam to be revealed. There is no need for you to spend thousands of dollars to go to an AMTC audition. Read the responses of consumers and myself here and see for yourself.

10. Bootlegged Zumba, Insanity and P90x on Amazon.com, Ebay and Craigslist – have you heard the saying “if it sounds too good to be true, it is.” Well, that is definitely true here. If you are buying a Zumba, Insanity or P90x workout DVD box set from Amazon.com, Ebay or especially Craigslist you will get at best a poor quality, cheap replica that won’t work properly. These are copies that are usually made in China and may look like the originals, but are made of such cheap quality that from what people are finding over half of the DVDs will not work. In the case of craigslist you don’t even get the box or anything they does burn them off their computer and don’t be surprised when you get home and they don’t work and you don’t have the correct phone number or any way to get your money back from the scam artist that ripped you off. There are thousands and thousands of horse stories of people that have bought these workout DVD collections from Ebay, Amazon.com and through Craigslist and gotten burned. Don’t let this happen to you.
