A month ago I purchased a Toshiba Satellite T235 Laptop from Hhgregg and have nothing but problems with Toshiba. When I bought the computer last month I got home and was excited to start up my new computer and start browsing around on it. It was about 9 p.m. and Hhgregg was already closed. I turned on the laptop and as soon as the windows 7 started, a pop up box appeared. The box stated that there was a problem with the systems cooling unit and to return to the store for service.
I was really pissed off because it was a brand new laptop and I shouldn’t have had any problems with it. I took it back the next day and the Hhgregg that I originally bought it from didn’t have any left so I proceeded to the one that was 20 miles down the road. I went into the second Hhgregg store and they had no problem with exchanging it for another brand new Satellite T235 Laptop. I was glad they had one in stock and that I would be able to get home and finally use my computer.
It has been exactly a month now that I have had my Toshiba Satellite T235 Laptop and the same pop up box that came up before appeared again. I am so pissed that I am having the same problems again. I tried calling Hhgregg and they told me that I needed to contact Toshiba customer Service. I called Toshiba and once again it was another call center located somewhere in the Middle East. I was on the phone with a woman in which I could understand every 5th word that she was saying to me.
She checked to make sure that my laptop wasn’t part of a recall, but as she returned on the phone to talk she disconnected us. I waited about 5 minutes to see if she would call me back since she had all my contact information. She didn’t call me back so I decided since I needed my computer fixed to call back. It was now worse than talking to the woman before. I was now trying to explain my problem to a man that could barely speak English. You could tell that he was reading off a card of solutions and things to respond back to customers.
The Toshiba Customer Service is absolutely horrible along with their terrible computer products. I have bought a Toshiba computer before and had nothing but problems with that one. I looked up reviews on the Toshiba Satellite T235 and it was supposed to be the top 3 laptops of 2010. I can guarantee you that this will be my last Toshiba computer ever in which I buy. Between the unreliable computers and the international people that the customer service department consist of is horrible. When I call a department for help, I want to be able to understand that person clearly and not have to interpret what they are saying word for word!



i been waiting for almost 2 months on a recovery disk b/c i had a bad hard drive they say they keep sending it but they can’t seem to get the disk to me. How hard is it to ship a disk.You would expect to Toshiba to care more about their customers.I bought it from Best Buy 6 months ago and 2 months of that has been at best buy waiting for the recovery disk
