I was looking for a vacuum sealer for a couple months because I have been tired of throwing away meats from the freezer. I would always go in the freezer to get meat out for dinner and it would be freezer burned from air being in the packages. I also have been making homemade beef jerky and wanted to get a vacuum sealer to store the jerky without worrying about it going bad in the freezer.
I gave up with looking around because there are so many different vacuum sealer machines to choose from and you never know if they are worth the money. I have found many dehydrators that rage from under $100 to several hundred dollars. I was going to wait till after Christmas to go look again, but I was surprised with my girlfriend gift.
She had bought me the VacMaster Pro90 Vacuum Sealer from Bass Pro Shops. She found this vacuum sealer which was commercial quality and came with a lot of materials! It came with an accessory hose, ½ quart canister, and 30 assorted bags (10 pint bags (6” x 10”), 10 quart bags (8” x 11.5”), 10 gallon bags (11.5” x 14”)). It also was a bonus package which included an additional 60 bags (20 of the three bag sizes).
I have started using the VacMaster Pro90 Vacuum Sealer and it is awesome. I have had only one problem with the sealer. When I have tried to seal some of the bags, the machine won’t seal the bag because it won’t suck enough air out of the bag to get to that point in the process. I like how you can cut any of the bags to make them fit more accordingly to what you are packaging. It has two features, vacuum and seal or seal only features. This allows you to create another bag out of what you cut off of a bag you made smaller.
I really enjoy the VacMaster Pro90 Vacuum Sealer and have only found that one problem with the system. I love how easy it is to clean and the sleek look of the stainless steel and black together makes it easy to keep out on your counter top if wanted. It doesn’t take up a lot of counter space but does offer a 12.5’’ sealer area.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a vacuum sealer because not only is the quality perfect, but the price is also perfect. She had told me that she bought it on sale for $79.94, which is an amazing deal for the amount of material it includes. I am not sure if the bonus materials are sold with the VacMastr Pro90 anywhere else, but my girlfriend had bought it from Bass Pro Shops.
I can’t get to seal the cannister. It works fine on bags. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong?
