Sorry, spell check… now* & damn*
PS, i don’t give two mother f-ing licks who or what you are there is absolutely no excuse for a stuck up or hateful attitude when working in customer service. I’ve worked in it for 12 years and I’ve never given any customer a scowl or disgusting stare. Its a hard job. So when the waitress “waited” on you she should of been reminded that the waffle house use to take pride in their clean and “seat yourself” atmosphere.

PS, i honestly don’t care who you are or where your from if you work in retail/customer service then you know treating a customer like they are wrong or poorly is f-ed up. I’ve been working in retail for 7 years and never acted like that to a customer. NO EXCUSES! That waitress must of had buddies working there cause if my boss saw me acting that way id be jobless. I agree, ill be going to ihop for my future breakfast.

It truly amazes me reading this article and some of the commentary. I work at Waffle House and have been for half a decade now. I have worked at about four to five different WH restaurants within this period and must say for the most part, I completely agree with these statements.
WH is absolutely unique in a sense of how much effort some people actually put into this place. We have good and bad employees. Outstanding and horrid employees too. Every business has this. The corporation does put a lot of emphasis and the amount of labor some sales people/servers have to contribute. A lot of the time out servers don’t get paid jack squat.
I’m going off on a tangentm
My point is, maybe some people should stop to think before they act. You probably shouldn’t be in a black community WH in the first place
