I hesitantly gave the sugar free cough drops from Walmart a try and was pleasantly surprised. They tasted good and worked great and were less then half the price of Halls and other brand name cough drops..
This has to be the year of the various flus and who knows what else. once October hit it appeared that almost every week I was coming down with something all the way through Christmas. Once November hit I had this ongoing cough that just would not stop until late December.
This cloth improve me nuts and made it so I could not sleep at night. The doctors gave me prescriptions for various medicines that were supposed to help us and stop my cough. nothing worked even the narcotic cough syrup they gave me. But what did help the most was actually just having cough drops on hand so I can pop them in my mouth whenever I needed them – which was usually quite often.
I didn’t really once he is cough drops because the previous year when I had the swine flu I used regular (not sugar free) cough drops and actually developed several cavities very quickly because of this (the government should have to pay or reimburse me for these dental expenses because they created and released whether on purpose or not the swine flu – it was created in one of the governments secret by a research labs like the ones on Plum Island).
I also hated the taste of most sugar-free products. my wife always likes to eat these sugar-free things with aspartame and NutraSweet. I find them to taste terrible and have a terrible aftertaste. But my wife talked me into trying some of her sugar-free cough drops that she had gotten from Wal-Mart.
according to the wrapper the cough drops came in these work comparable to Halls brand cough drops and had the exact same ingredients in them. The main ingredient obviously is menthol which is a cough suppressant and oral anesthetic. I like the taste of regular Hall’s cough drops and I figured just like with most sugar-free things that there would be a horrible aftertaste or something similar with these cough drops.
I was wrong they tasted the same and they worked great. Once I found this out I stuffed the pockets of my jackets and my pants with these Wal-Mart Equate brand sugar-free cough drops. I and my wife don’t buy the original Halls brand cough drops as they cost more than twice the price of Wal-Mart’s cough drops.
All I can say here is these sugar-free cough drops got me through a lot of sicknesses this past year. And if you are suffering from a cough or cold I highly recommend the Walmart Equate brand sugar-free cough drops. You will find them located near the pharmacy in any Wal-Mart store.
